Kindred Connections Society

Rapid Access Counselling is offered province-wide in Alberta. It provides single-session counselling that allows children, youth, families, and adult individuals to book when they need the support. Sessions are available within three business days, and you set the goal of the session. Counselling is available both in-person in downtown Calgary or virtually (phone, video call). Cost will never be a barrier to counselling; you select the fee you are able to pay, and counselling is FREE to children, youth and families.

Community Connect YYC is a collaborative of 15 agencies/practices that offer low-barrier counselling to the Calgary area. Kindred leads this collaboration and ensures there is availability of sessions for a variety of client needs (addictions, 2SLGBTQ+, seniors, domestic violence, etc.). Clients are able to book themselves in 24/7 and select the service that is right for them by visiting www.CommunityConnectYYC.ca.
