Jaime Lee is a Veteran spouse, artist, author, and Registered Art Therapist. Her passion to communicate through art manifested as a child, but she never pursued art as a career until later in life. Jaime Lee Lightle, a native of Ottawa Ontario, showed artistic talent in both visual art and music at an early age. She earned her bachelor's degree in Canadian Studies from Carleton University in Ottawa in 2003. After working in Ottawa until 2009, she moved to Pembroke to join her future husband and army veteran, James Lightle. In 2015, the couple moved to a small community outside Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, where they opened Round Hill Studio (roundhillstudio.com) showcasing their artistic work. In 2022, Jaime Lee graduated from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute and is currently collaborating on community-based projects, delivering art therapy to rural communities in the Annapolis area, while also cultivating her private art therapy practice (annapolisarttherapy.org). Jaime Lee Lightle is inspired by the muses of nature to help her express her inner most longing and interpretation of the world around her. Contact: jaime.lightle@gmail.com
