I am a CAF Veteran and a defence/intelligence consultant. I teach Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, Yoga in Schools, Iron Yoga (TM), Yoga for Athletes with closely related Restorative Yoga, and Recuperative Yoga for people recovering from injuries. I teach in the Trauma Informed Yoga Teaching style (TIYT 1) to the general public and work with individual clients as I am Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy Certified (TIYT 2). I teach integrated yoga and mindfulness drawing from the Koru School, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, the military police Road to Mental Readiness (R2MR), and other mindfulness gurus including Jon Kabatt-Zin, Sharon Salzberg, Pema Chodron, and Ekhardt Tolle. When working with corporate clients I employ examples of resilience from history and social science, including Nobel Prize laureate Daniel Kahneman, Colonel Saunders, Jim Treliving, Cass R. Sunstein, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, Classic Era philosopher Epictitus, (and his 20th Century disciple James Stockdale), John McCain, Arthur Shakleton, Nelson Mandela, Oddette Churchill, and Noor Inayat Khan, and Virginia Hall.
