Landing Strong

Who We Are
Landing Strong is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting those who are experiencing the effects of operational stress injuries. Located in the scenic Town of Windsor, Nova Scotia, our treatment centre opened in 2018. All of our services are available in-person and online.

Our Mission
Landing Strong helps those who are suffering find their place within their families and community and, just as importantly, reclaim their identity. Individuals are supported in a safe and inviting community. Support for families is also a key component of our vision.
Our Philosophy
We operate on a continuum of care. Landing Strong is a therapeutic community that does not disappear at the end of treatment. We work in collaboration with case workers and community mental health providers to provide a rich, supportive backdrop to recovery and transition.
Our Team
Our skilled multi-disciplinary team of innovative health care providers support those who have dedicated their lives to the services of others, at great personal expense.
At Landing Strong, we recognize that recovery does not happen in isolation. Peer and family engagement are necessary components of care in overcoming the effects of moral injury.
